This hit ABC News a few minutes ago

The funny part is that the criminals don't buy the guns legally the get them in the streets. So any thing they need, they get, and at a cheaper price than we do, since the guns they buy are illegal, and the sellers want to get rid of them faster. So whats the diffrence they get them now they'll get them when the Ban is gone. Ban criminals not guns. :D It comes to no surprise when NIEVE brass and Politicians talk out of their A-hole we get dumb laws.

Police officials from across the country on Wednesday warned that dangerous assault weapons will flood U.S. streets if the ban on those guns expires next week

Hmmm, really? I sure hope so. I'll be standing out at the end of my driveway on Tuesday looking for some to float by so I can grab them. The ignorance and/or unprofessionalism displayed in that quote by the Reuter reporter is disgusting. Yes, he was quoting the police chiefs - BUT a good jounalist doesn't lead a story with such a one-sided take on an issue in the first paragraph of the story, even if it's just paraphrasing what one side said. In the first paragraph, you give a balanced summary, then go on to elucidate each side's positions in the following paragraphs.

Tamara, LMBO - yeah he must have done some serious spin on his resume' - "I'm determined to not let Atlanta become quite the stagnating $hithole of crime that existed in my other cities."

I just love the blantant LIES that the cheif of LAPD stated in an interview...

"Nobody has an inalienable right to run around with a machine gun," he said. "I'm sorry, that's insanity!" - BUT this would also imply to the COPS as well, they Cheif just said the COPS have no need for machine guns either, TAKE THEM AWAY!

First off the ban will have NO effect on the LEGAL availability of so called assualt weapons in Cali, so why make it seem that it will? Utter LIES that is all.

The Consumer Federation of America

Remember that name.
They are a group to be watched.

Yep. Anybody who puts "consumer" in their title is suspect. Not all are leftists, but the majority are.

(check the history of the Consumers Union, for example.)

DISCONNECT!!!

Uh, First? We're talking about REUTERS, here. Why are you bringing up good journalism?

Scratch that - why are you bringing up journalism?

Man the barricades! The flood is coming!

I managed to buy a 25 round 10/22 magazine the other day. I don't really know why I did it 'cause it's a bitch to load. But it's laying there on my desk and I couldn't get one last year. I may not be able to get one next year either, so I guess I'd better get ten or twenty more.

The last few Intratec Sport 22's we have are going to be so much easier to move now that we have Butler Creek 25-rd mags to sell with them. :)
