Thinking of purchasing a CZ P-01. Are they reliable weapons?

What about slide stop breakage during the middle of a match? That's not acceptable for me.
It's best to run only fresh new slide stops during competition and SD.
Slide stops in CZ's are sacrificial parts, meaning they're suppose to break before damage can occur to the frame. But because of that, they can also fail earlier with normal usage.

I use Eemann Tech slide stops because they are one piece of steel.....a Shadow 2 stop is made up of two separate pieces brazed/welded together.
Just my two cents.
 
I've always wanted one. But for me they are way to chunky to carry. But if it suits you, it will definitely do the job. I actually prefer the CZ PCR. Basically the same gun without the boxy rail, check that one out, it's drop dead sexy
