thinking of buying a Taurus

Wow, I think you all just sold me on a Super Redhawk instead of the Raging Bull. I am going to pick up a 454 for next hunting season and I was looking back and forth between these two. I knew Ruger is a quality worker, I just didn't know about the Taurus. Thanks for saving me hassle.

I have owned many Taurus revolvers in the past 20 years.
From a 6" .357 down to a CH 85.

I'm down to 2 now because when my father asked for for a good dependable snub I gave him one of my 85s. I gave my son an 83 for Home defense because he was not old enough to carry.
My wife now carries my CH 85 and I have a 3" 85.
I'm looking at getting one of their 44sp snubs.

In other words I have never had a problem with any of the 10 or so revolvers I have owned over the years. They are far from crappy.
They just don't cost enough for some people.

Which brings us to the second point. I think the price is way too high for a used Taurus unless it's a Raging
