That would be my state, the Land of Lincoln. Gun bans, blue state mentality, no concealed carry, Chicago's high crime rate, Blago and Daley taxing the snot out of us, etc. If I could leave this state I would, IN A HEARTBEAT!!!
I just made a discovery. Texas, being a realitivly gun friendly state has a LOT of regulations. Anytime that I am planning on travaling into/thru another state, I print out the state law on CCW and carry them with me. Wyoming; about 5 pages, Colorado; about 8 pages; Arizona; about 8 pages; Texas... 68 pages! I had to go and dig out a 3 ring binder! Reading through the regs there really isn't all that much in the way of retrictions (can't carry in SeaWorld/6 Flags/51% bars, etc). But, my goodness, they are wordy down there in Austin!
