The war continues. UK airline bomb plot foiled!

Most countries have an agricultural policy that prohibits animals from a diseased herd from entering their country. It doesn't matter whether some individuals are clean or not. Muslims are a diseased herd, and there's no other way to see it.

I'm calling false flag operation B-S on this one.Where are all the police news conferences?,the table in front of the podium displaying the evidence?,the parade of suspects on their way to jail?.This is nothing more than a government instigated B-S operation to keep the fear level up in the herd of shepple.Sorry,i'm not buying it.

Well, they've done the podium already on BBC news. As for the rest, it is a little bit too soon to ask for evidence. They have 28 days to charge these guys and according to some sources 5 men are still at large. You aren't going to see anything on the table until they have a solid case against the suspects. In fact you may not see the actual exhibits at all. It depends on how sensitive or how dangerous the authorities think that information is in the hands of the general public.
Of course there is a chance it is all nonsense, but my feeling is something solid will come out of this. We have to wait and see.

Not the War on Terror.

Before the term is used too much, I would like to point out that this has nothing to do with the "War on Terror" in it's literal meaning. This was a great bit of cooperative police work by several agencies, but not at all the military action and civil investigation defined by our current administration and the Dept.of Homeland Security.
The terror war is very much active in the military sense in several countries, but not the UK. This was a good bit of police work, not war. Granted, the terror level in the past and all the attention it's gotten may have raised the focus on the issue, but it is not only because of the War on Terror that this was pulled off.
It seems like any type of threat like this is lumped under the "War" heading, perhaps to justify it.
Another thing that is important to note is that it was America that first coined the term and engaged in the "terror war". All the media coverage I have seen so far references very little US involvment, except to say that we were the target and it was a great "terror war" victory for the US.

Let's give credit where it is due on this one, UK law enforcement. Not some hyped up media-dictated military action. They were the ones that did the real grunt work.

British law enforcement agencies are far less inclined to go public with the evidence and suspects parade then American ones. Too much of it (read any of it) risks the accused's lawyers being able to argue that their clients will not receive a fair trial owing to the extensive media coverage.

Baaaaa!

Oh yeah! All you need is a few "towell heads" and some thermos flasks and BING! Instant terror plot to destroy a dozen U.S bound planes. This is blatant B.S and the lack of actual evidence or suspect materials seals the deal. The U.K is fast becoming a nation of scared white folk, just the environment needed for total government control over the civil poulation. Excellent test bed!! I predict the next "emergency" will be close at hand amongst the "coalition of the willing" All we're willing to do is to sublimate ourselves to the state for safety and protection. I would have added some inverted commas to the previous statement but the button won't work anymore. Fatigue.

This was definitely not a "B.S" plot. Just because you aren't personally aware of the details doesn't mean they don't exist. Believe you me, those details do exist, but chances are pretty strong that they won't be publicly announced.

The UK Terror plot: what's really going on?
I have been reading very carefully through all the Sunday newspapers to try and analyse the truth from all the scores of pages claiming to detail the so-called bomb plot. Unlike the great herd of so-called security experts doing the media analysis, I have the advantage of having had the very highest security clearances myself, having done a huge amount of professional intelligence analysis, and having been inside the spin machine.

So this, I believe, is the true story.

None of the alleged terrorists had made a bomb. None had bought a plane ticket. Many did not even have passports, which given the efficiency of the UK Passport Agency would mean they couldn't be a plane bomber for quite some time.

In the absence of bombs and airline tickets, and in many cases passports, it could be pretty difficult to convince a jury beyond reasonable doubt that individuals intended to go through with suicide bombings, whatever rash stuff they may have bragged in internet chat rooms.

What is more, many of those arrested had been under surveillance for over a year - like thousands of other British Muslims. And not just Muslims. Like me. Nothing from that surveillance had indicated the need for early arrests.

Then an interrogation in Pakistan revealed the details of this amazing plot to blow up multiple planes - which, rather extraordinarily, had not turned up in a year of surveillance. Of course, the interrogators of the Pakistani dictator have their ways of making people sing like canaries. As I witnessed in Uzbekistan, you can get the most extraordinary information this way. Trouble is it always tends to give the interrogators all they might want, and more, in a desperate effort to stop or avert torture. What it doesn't give is the truth.

The gentleman being "interrogated" had fled the UK after being wanted for questioning over the murder of his uncle some years ago. That might be felt to cast some doubt on his reliability. It might also be felt that factors other than political ones might be at play within these relationships. Much is also being made of large transfers of money outside the formal economy. Not in fact too unusual in the British Muslim community, but if this activity is criminal, there are many possibilities that have nothing to do with terrorism.

We then have the extraordinary question of Bush and Blair discussing the possible arrests over the weekend. Why? I think the answer to that is plain. Both in desperate domestic political trouble, they longed for "Another 9/11". The intelligence from Pakistan, however dodgy, gave them a new 9/11 they could sell to the media. The media has bought, wholesale, all the rubbish they have been shovelled.

We then have the appalling political propaganda of John Reid, Home Secretary, making a speech warning us all of the dreadful evil threatening us and complaining that "Some people don't get" the need to abandon all our traditional liberties. He then went on, according to his own propaganda machine, to stay up all night and minutely direct the arrests. There could be no clearer evidence that our Police are now just a political tool. Like all the best nasty regimes, the knock on the door came in the middle of the night, at 2.30am. Those arrested included a mother with a six week old baby.

For those who don't know, it is worth introducing Reid. A hardened Stalinist with a long term reputation for personal violence, at Stirling Univeristy he was the Communist Party's "Enforcer", (in days when the Communist Party ran Stirling University Students' Union, which it should not be forgotten was a business with a very substantial cash turnover). Reid was sent to beat up those who deviated from the Party line.

We will now never know if any of those arrested would have gone on to make a bomb or buy a plane ticket. Most of them do not fit the "Loner" profile you would expect - a tiny percentage of suicide bombers have happy marriages and young children. As they were all under surveillance, and certainly would have been on airport watch lists, there could have been little danger in letting them proceed closer to maturity - that is certainly what we would have done with the IRA.

In all of this, the one thing of which I am certain is that the timing is deeply political. This is more propaganda than plot. Of the over one thousand British Muslims arrested under anti-terrorist legislation, only twelve per cent are ever charged with anything. That is simply harrassment of Muslims on an appalling scale. Of those charged, 80% are acquitted. Most of the very few - just over two per cent of arrests - who are convicted, are not convicted of anything to do terrorism, but of some minor offence the Police happened upon while trawling through the wreck of the lives they had shattered.

Be sceptical. Be very, very sceptical.

Murray isn't what I would consider a reliable source. He was relieved of his post in Uzbekistan for posting classified documents on his personal webpage. From what I've read about him he's kind of a nut case consperacy theorists.

Murray was apparently smeared and driven from his job for criticizing the Bush and Blair administrations for their policies relating to Uzbekistan while he was ambassador. The trumped-up charges against him were virtually all dropped and he reached some settlement with the british government.

As far as reliability, I wouldn't rate him any lower than the Bush and Blair administrations.

Any and all terrorist plots reported by the goverment in this election year should be met with some degree of skepticism, because of the way that terrorism has been politicized and manipulated for political advantage since the 9/11 attack.

He was outspoken and didn't like either administration. But he was fired for posting classified documents. He wasn't fired because he didn't like the admins and was railroaded. Having spent alot of time in Tashkent from 2000 to 2004 I can say his assumptions of govt thuggery were pretty true, but it still gave him no right to publish classified documents. Islam Karimov's thugs were pretty active against Uzbek agitators. I doubt very seriously we were flying folks into there though. Eastern European's are much more advanced. Karimov's thugs were nothing more than bouncers in bad suits. If he felt that strong he should have stepped down and took it on as a pet project.
