Gunsite's version of the tactical levergun
I like the idea that you can "load one-shoot one" with the levergun; I'd hadn't thought of that. If you had the need to deploy an alternative ammuntion type (for example switching from lighter jhps to a heavy hard cast bullet for increased penetration) you could handle it like the "select slug" drill with a shotgun.
I received this notice describing the Gunsite Gunsmithy's newest offering based on a Marlin 45-70 Guide Gun. I was curious about the reference to modifications to the loading gate to allow "easy downloading or unloading." I wonder what that entails?
