Would it be possible to load up some subsonic shells instead?

They woudn't cycle autoloaders, but it seems like a much simpler and cheaper solution.
 
The gas is what makes the noise, and the gas that escapes from behind the bullet must be sub sonic.

The long barrel volume and holes decompress the gas before the bullet un caps the gas.

I have been shooting the loads on Metro website, 13.5 gr Red Dot, and it really works. Kill a grizzly in your back yard without waking up the neighbors.

But, like others pointed out above, I am not used to a 6' long gun, and I am banging the muzzle into everything, especially the cieling:(
 
There are places $40 cheaper than Cabellas, but I got it there at Cabellas becuase I know they never take orders and then tell me it is back ordered.
 
Hey What About Turkey Shoots?

I got an Idea.. take two of them, put them together. When you go to a turkey shoot, all ya got to do is poke the paper.. blow the dot a way.....

You could have a 4" spread at 20 yards with that thing...Plus you don't have to worry about leading.

I am rather interested in this. I could see this being built into a bullpup shotgun, then it would not be so long. And if the design is worked on for a while they could maybe get it down to 20 inches.

It is cool to see someone working on making shotguns quite.
