C candr44 New member Feb 14, 2019 #21 I don't know how true this is but I read some where that a flash suppressor is meant to keep the muzzle flash out of the shooters line of sight. The flash suppressor is suppose to be timed to the barrel so that no ports are lined up with the sights.
