Now you need to mount a rail on that thing, and a red dot sight, and hang a flashlight under it. Replace the grips with some rubber fingergroove ones, and you'll be in business.

S&W Registered Magnum #3935 Shipped July 1938

Here's one I recently acquired at a LGS
This one was sent back to S&W in 1955 for refinish and is now sporting a 6.5" barrel most likely a Pre-27 barrel.
These guns were hand fitted by the best gunsmiths S&W had at the time and the actions are smooth as silk.
I decided to put this one up on an auction and let someone else enjoy owning it for a while.
