The one advantage of Glocks over 1911s that I'll admit to...

Ahh... another fan of repro-antiques with a small chink in the armor... :D

That's all we needed with "The Colonel", to get his recent admission...

You will be assimilated... bwahahahahaha :D

AndABeer,
Kinda makes you want to get rid of all those 1911's and go out and buy yourself a nice Glock 36, don't it!!!

denfoote,

The 36 feels like crap in my hand though I hear with a grip extention mag it is totally different. Were I to carry a Glock at this time it'd be my 19.

I've gone from 1911s to glocks and back several times. If an occasional loose grip panel is the price I must pay for the obcene accuracy, reliablity, and purtiness of my Eclipse, seems like a great deal.

Didn't mean to start ANOTHER one of THOSE threads. Too many post range beers I guess. Like Glocks, like 1911s just a bit better.

AndABeer,
I haven't the faintest idea what you just said!!!!!!
I own both the 36 and the 19. The differences are negligable except for caliber!!! The G36 even fits the custom Kydex holster that I had made for my G19!!!! Add the 3.5lb connector and reduced power trigger spring. Throw in adjustable sights, and (hey, it was part of the trade) what you have is a Glock reliable emulation of the 1911 in condition one...without the hassle of the grip safety!!! :D
