The one advantage of Glocks over 1911s that I'll admit to...

Same here. The only grip screws which come loose on me regularly are on my CZ-97B. I love the pistol, but those damn screws are driving me to Distraction (that's in Arizona). I almost decided to Loc-tite them in place if I could only remember which color Loc-tite to use. Their color system is so confusing. ;)

Loctite #222 is the best choice for grip screws, it's a low strength, non-permenant bond designed for small fasteners. Unfortunately, it's not very common. #242 is very common and will work in a pinch, but it may fight you when it comes time to remove the screws. A trick I learned a long time ago for small screws is to dip the threads in Boiled Linseed oil. It turns to gum, will not be permenant, and can be cleaned off with normal solvents.

Well um...there's um...Glocks are um...
For the most part Glocks have a greater magazine capacity...there ya go! :D

It's pretty hard to accidentally scuff the frame with the slide stop lever on a Glock.

But if you could, you wouldn't care; what'd happen? It'd get uglier? ;)

Other Glock advantages:

The slide makes a better straight edge for drawing lines with a pencil.

The mag well opening makes a better ice scraper without scratching the glass.

You know, I bet it would!

DISCLAIMER: Do Not Try This At Home With A Loaded Glock, Kids. We Are Trained Professionals. ;)

A scratch on my Kimber Eclipse II would be a blemish. The same scratch on one of my Glock's would be a battle scar.

AndABeer,
Kinda makes you want to get rid of all those 1911's and go out and buy yourself a nice Glock 36, don't it!!!:p
