The New SIG P221 is DEPRESSING.

BigMike - I'm 5'7", 160 lbs and I carry a P220 every day. ArmySon carries a full size 1911 on his skinny butt as well. It isn't difficult unless you believe it's difficult.

:)

Folks, lets not forget that the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, which included limiting 10 rd magazines from import or new production, "sunsets" in 2004. God, and the economy willing, Prez Bush and congress will let it go (without renewing it) and that will be the end of it. If the economy tanks further/worse, and considering that there will be an election months after the ban is supposed to go away, lets hope it does not become an election issue and we get sold out again in the interest of winning another election.

Pray for the economy!!!

Regards,

Sorry...

There is no SIG P221, except perhaps for one prototype. The grip size on this mythical SIG was supposedly the same as a P226, yet the mag would hold fourteen rounds of .45ACP instead of fifteen rounds of 9mmP.

I can't make the math work...can you?

SIGARMS is busy launching the all-stainless P220ST, which should be available later this year. It has exactly the same capacity as the regular P220. ;)

Item # PG045--Model P220 .45ACP/10rnd $24.95

You can get 10 round magazines for the P220 from ProMag. The above is for sale at http://www.deltaforce.com/

It adds an inch to the length of the grip, and has a shroud. I'm sure it sucks for concealed carry, but I'm getting some for range/home defense.

They also have a variety of 15 round mags for $45 and $60.
