Seriously the story sounds a bit like fantasy to me, but I have said it before and I will say it again: ARMED PEOPLE ON MY PROPERTY WHO DO NOT ID THEMSELVES WILL BE SHOT. Period. If they are cops, I will feel bad for their family. This guy is a nut though, and probably a bigot.

I don't know if this guy is a racist and a crackpot or not. I never heard of him.
I DO know that LEOs are sworn to uphold the Constitution. The Constitution guarantees a persons right to be a bigot and crackpot (freedom of speech) if they so wish. It's not a crime. It may be wrong in some cases, but it's not a crime. If the story is a lie, there are slander and libel laws. Cops are not judge and jury in any case.

Final point, notice the last paragraph. Pandering donations to the fund. Seems like this is more of a campaign to raise funds, IMO
 
I stopped blaming the Jews when I found out about the giant space bunnies on Jupiter. They're responsible for most of the bad stuff that happens.

Is it just me or is the current envogue TFL L&P thread some consperiacy theory, it's not my fault, no personal responsibility type stuff? The govt has more important things to do than monitor little Jonny trailer park and the chip he thinks they put in his head to monitor his thoughts.
 
No, I just believe that if someone was roughed up, stalked and altogether harrassed by some gov't agency, somebody (CNN, MSNBC, Fox, AP, even NPR) would be talking about it.
 
Why? It's a little nothing event to most people. On top of that it (allegedly)happened to someone most people would have nothing but negative feelings towards. Why SHOULD it make the news? Some of you might keep that latter part in mind the next time a gun owner is run roughshod over by the F-Troop and, hey, nobody but some of us really seems to care...

That's really the point some are trying to make here. What we think of the guy's views means nothing. Did it happen or did it not? Not a one of us actually has any idea, yet, but since he's not our kind we'll trot out absurdities to try and ignore his claims. Then we wonder why the broader public doesn't care when something happens to one of us. Keep in mind, there's a big chunk of that public that recognizes no difference between gun owners, hunters, neo-nazis, etc. We're all just some fringe loons who need to be controlled.

Don, seems to me the current envogue thread is to bash whatever group or person doesn't fit our own little world views and to hell with anything else.
 
Freedom of speech must include the freedom to express ideas we may fing repugant, evil, or just plain stupid, or it isn't freedom at all.

Besides, Neo-Nazi rants tend to be self-defeating when exposed to critical analysis.

Merely being a goose-stepping halfwit is no excuse to be roughed-up by police. Fun though it might be for me to watch -- I'm on the short list for a cattle-car to the camps, right after Wild Alaska -- it ain't right. As long as they're not harming others, they can say whatever they choose to say. And I can poke merciless fun at it for the pernicious idiocy it is. That's freedom. It's not freedom from being offended.
