And more. All of this is one-man-portable, and would kill just a whole lot of people.
 
I agree that the mind is the most powerful weapon, but not only the mind. It must be filled with knowledge to be a useful weapon. Then it is the most useful thing you have.
 
I to will add a vote for the human mind. Beware a man who is determined to kill and takes the time to think it through.

WOmen. Although created before 1400, Was designed by a single person. And in some cases the packaging is really nice.

They have caused more than 1 government to fall and in most cases, when government falls, a civil war ensues.

IGNORANCE.

But if that won't do, then put me down for a high grade sniper rifle in the hands of one who knows his business. His stats at conflict's end will be impressive.
 
Another vote for the human mind.

Loaded or unloaded, intentional or negligent, brilliant or ignorant. Dangerous both ways.
 
I changed my mind the deadliest weapon is the gas I create. I think the I make the EPA's list of top ten greenhouse gas producer. and I am pretty sure that the countries are trying to get me added to the list of inhumane weapons of war. The federal government may even consider me a weapon of mass destruction.

Really, ask anyone of my friends who are still alive.

Boy fella's ya left out the biggest baddest one of 'em all. RELIGION. MY GOD IS BETTER THAN YER GOD AND I'LL KILL ANYONE TO PROVE IT. READ SOME OF THE TERRIBLE THINGS DONE IN THE NAME OF RELIGION....
 
My $0.02 worth (if it's even THAT valuable):

Neutron bomb

Kills every living thing around, leaves the infrastructure in place. Pretty good idea if you're planning to occupy afterwards.

Knives predate 1400, so they're out by definition of the time frame. I'd give them a vote, though.

Same applies to the human mind. We've been killing each other for a LOT longer than the past 600 years.

Other than that, I'd give a vote to anything John Browning had a hand in designing.
 
I'd have to say biological weapons. They self perpetuate and could theoretically kill every human on the planet.

And the really "good" ones are all human creations...
