Illegal immigration is a problem. One that our current president refuses to deal with. Same as past presidents. More importantly, it is the Congress itself that refuses to see the southern border as a problem. It is Congress, after all, that laws are made and passed; where funding starts and stops.
No sitting president or his administration can make a dent in the problem without full and total congressional support.
Having said that, there is the matter of the original post. It is customary on this forum that all articles are linked to their source. This has not been done, despite the repeated requests.
It is also customary that racist articles not be posted. Racism merely inflames without informing: "America's most powerful legal officer, Attorney General Roberto Gonzales, is a Mexican who supports this criminal invasion of America. This is why Bush replaced John Ashcroft with Gonzales." (one glaring example among many contained in the OP)
Last I heard, Gonzales was a natural born American Citizen. That he has a Spanish surname does not make him "Mexican" anymore than my mothers maiden name of "Glass" makes her a German nationalist or a Jew.
Whatever message the article may contain is overshadowed by the blatant bigotry and racist remarks. It has no place on The Firing Line. It is low-road material. We do not take the low-road here.
