Although I have many fine handguns, some of which have been mentioned above, the one that shoots the best is a H&R .22 Sportsman (Target model 6" single action & a 8oz triger.) It will empty it's 9 shots into one small hole (.3 CTC) at 25yds with CCI Green Tag. Yes it surprised the heck out of me- no, I dont carry it!

My Browning Hi-Power puts them exactly where I want them. It was the best shooter of my collection before customization and it is certainly the most accurate handgun in it now.

Ive three that really are a tie....all three have had extensive work by a first rate smith...but all three shot extremely well before the finishing touches.....a bhp9mm, a custom 1911 with clark barrel/bushings...and probably my absolute favorite wheel, thats a model 629 6" with herrets grips, magnaporting and a great trigger job......fubsy.

Ruger Mark II Govt. Target with match grade ammo. VolksQ. target grips, sights and trigger. Tuned to 2.0 lb. pull.

I have a Diana RWS .177 pellet rifle that puts five shots through the same hole at 50 feet. But that's what air guns are all about. No heat, no fouling.
