Wow, surprised that NY is lower than Cali. As far as gun rights go, I would probably rather be in CA over NY. Not that it's a good choice one way or the other, but lesser of two evils and all that.
But then here in NYC we get to see the ABSOLUTE WORST of the gun control in this nation.

We got beaten by the three states that have Constitutional carry. We need to work on that so we can be at the very bottom of the list!! Tied for 47 is pretty good though. And we whipped on those Texans!

I think it is relatively gun friendly, no AWB, CCW "shall issue", and the state legislature is working on its version of the Montana Firearms Freedom law.
