Teresa Heinz, Giving Texas Back to Mexico?

My last word on this intruguing subject is this.

If Texas 'were' given to Mexico, it would be only a matter of a few years, and Texas would conquer the rest of Mexico with its more powerful culture and economy. And that's not all bad...

The Texas Rangers (the LEO organization) could put an end to bribery and corruption in Mexican business.

Ross Perot could revitalize the Mexican economy, led by strong new initiatives with oil & gas, revitalizing the Tex/Mex relationships with the Middle East. The new Tex/Mex suddenly becomes an important world political influence, as a broker between Middle Eastern and Western cultures.

A resurgence in high-tech, led by Texas Instruments, Dell, etc, could benefit from lower labor costs in 'Baja Texas', catapulting them to positions of dominance in the Tech industries.

The Dallas banking/finance industry could become the new Switzerland.

Tourism would explode. Nobody is a better host than a gracious Texan. Given Texas hospitality, Mexico's beautiful venues, and a new level of trust between tourists and hosts...where better for the world to visit?

Mr. Perot could also revitalize the political scene, with a libertarian/conservative style that would maximize personal liberty while maintaining social order through a strong sense of personal responsibility, mixed with a generous dose of simpatico.

IOW, it would be a southern/latin utopia.
