Although I have always been one of those guys that skipped everything between 22LR and 38spl, I have really been thinking about how nice a 32ACP pocket pistol would be. This round has been around a long time and is available just about everywhere, from what I understand. Without looking for an actual date, I seem to remember Colt chamberring a pocket pistol in it back in 1903. Other than that, I don't know much about the pistols available in 32ACP. I know that the Kel-Tec P-32 is rather popular these days. What has your experience been with this or other single stack pocket 32ACP pistols? I am looking for pistols that are not bulky so I am not thinking about full sized at this time. I have my share of those. Pics are welcome. :)

i recently purchased a kel-tec p-32. boy, talk about slim and light! so far i've run about 50 round through it. no ftf. i was shooting at 30 ft and while the bg would be down, i was all over the paper. i need more practice. it is a pleasure to carry, and the price was easy too.

I,too, recommend Kel-Tec's P32. The only complaint that I have and I believe this is with any 32 acp is that if you're not careful when loading the magazine you can get rimlock. When I load a magazine I make sure that each shell is completely to the rear before loading the next one and this so far has worked for me.:)

I have a kel tec p-32, serial #42xxx, that I've had a little over a month. I've put 200 rounds of fiochhi fmj and hollow points down the tube with not one hiccup. Excellant pocket pistol as far as I'm concerned. As a matter of fact the only thing I did was take it apart prior to shooting and gave it a good cleaning and greasing. It has replaced my NAA Guardian .32 as the difference in weight is unbelievable. As been mentioned can't beat it for the money either:)

I like my Beretta Tomcat, though it tends to print in a pants pocket. Works fine in a jacket pocket. I feed it nothin' but Silvertips, and it works just fine.

Another vote for the P-32. My P-32 functions perfectly. It feeds fmj and hollowpoints without any problems. It's very easy to conceal. I carry it in my front pocket, it's so light and thin that I don't even notice its there. It also has some neat options (belt clip, 10 round magazine, etc). I also have two friends that own P-32 and both are completely satisfied and have had no problems whatsoever. For each of us our P-32's have become our "always gun".

Well....I guess I'll break the brand trend...I love my naa guardian. I don't have a p32 but have held one. And as many have said..get the one that feels good in your hand as well. The biggest problem I have is that I start depending on it too much. Occasions that I could wear my sig with no problem I often go for the guardian because it's easier or lighter or quicker to put on. When you buy a .32 you begin to read all the threads about ammo....but now it's not whether it will go through the BG and into the next room.. but..whether it has enough umph to go into the BG. I won't trade it for anything..as probably most of the p32 owners will say. Good Luck!

I have a model 1903 Colt with the enclosed hammer. The gun was made as a pocket pistol with all edges rounded, some fairly melted. It is a heavy gun and as such, there is really no recoil, only a slight jump in the hand. It has a 4" barrel, so it is bigger than some pocket guns. The one true draw back is that magazine removal is by a little latch-type lock at the bottom of the mag well and so combat reloads or tactical really are not a pragmatic option.

I have a little Kel Tec .32 and it's been utterly reliable with any ammo I fed it. It does have a LOOOOOOOONG trigger pull, but it is crisp and consistent.

My little Keltec p32 took a 'fluff and buff' to get it reliable. The first time I fired it, aftter about 40 rounds it started stovepiping and having fte's.
But I'm happy to say that I took my p32 to the range yesterday and put about 80 rounds through it without one singe ftf or fte.
Another thing that they had advised on the Keltec owners group website is greasing the sliderails and other various places. I think after the combination of proper lubrication and the f&b, the pistol is a work of art! I lOVE MY KELTEC!
Besides for that, what can you say about it that hasn't been stated already? Lightweight, accurate, small profile, easy to conceal, etc, etc.
It's just a great little spidwad!
I know some people disparage the .32, but IMO, you have to ask yourself where and how you are using this thing. If you are carrying large sums of cash through south central L.A. at 3:00 in the morning, then get yourself a glock and some Kevlar! But for guys like me, who work in an office, and don't have a whole, whole lot of exposure to high crime areas, this p32 fits my bill perfectly!

have a good weekend gentlemen (and ladies!)

Right now, I wouldn't sell my P32 for twice what I paid for it! Not even to go out and buy two more... because I've run 200 rounds of everything from Atlanta Arms Ammo and other cheapo stuff, to the Speer Gold Dot that it carries around other times, and it laughs at them as it hurls them (more accurately than I expected) down the range. I've even limp-wristed it on purpose, slapped it around, short stroked the trigger, and it hasn't given me a problem yet.

I actually had a (used) NAA Guardian on layaway when I held, and HAD to have, the P32. (Brand new, $25 cheaper) The weight difference is AMAZING, and what I was looking for was the smallest, lightest always gun that existed. No contest.

Have carried invisibly in Front pocket, back pocket, belly band under tucked shirt, DeSantis GunHide, and I just ordered a DeSantis Ankle holster for it.

Buy one.... you won't regret it. If you do, sell it for $20 less than you paid for it, and consider that a "rental fee". ;)

Another vote for the Kel-tec P32. Small and light weight, this is one easy to conceal firearm. Mine has been completely reliable and is sufficiently accurate.

I love my P32 also. I had to smooth out the chamber some because it was rough. I also installed heavier recoil and mag springs from Wolff. Now it work perfectly.

I have an NAA Gaurdian. Mine was (and I think this is true in general) picky about the ammo, but so far silvertips have proven reliable. It's a bit heavy in the pocket but it's nice and small and is easy to keep from printing. I think it's the prettiest of the pocket 32s (I dont consider PPKs pocket guns). I like the trigger and it's comfortable to shoot -- it's worth considering. That said, I dont own a Keltec 32 but I do own a P11 and that has been a fantastic gun for me so I'm a big fan of Keltec.

I carry a Seecamp 32 acp.
I have found that it is very realiable and compact.
Mine has never had a failure to fire or eject.
I also like the stainless steel contruction as is helps in the recoil area also.
It was never meant to be shot for distance other than almost contact distance.
It works great for rapid fire center mass shots.

I have a Stainless Tomcat 3032. It's U.S. made. I bought in December of 2000. In the People's Republic of Mexico, I mean Kalifornia, it had not been approved for sale as of 1/1/2001 so I got a good deal on it.

So far, I like it fine. No ftf or other problems. I have heard some nasty things about them on this board but in my experience, it's a very nice gun.

I hear lots of praise for the P32. I have also heard that it is a cheap POS on this board. Pick the gun that fits your hand and will make you happy on a quality and aesthetic basis. The Seecamp or NAA are nice guns if you can find and afford them.
