Tell me About Scales

I remember when I used to think I could "always trust my beam scale". Then I got some check weights and a $35 MTM 750 grain digital. Turns out my old beam scale (Pacific Tools pre-Hornady) was off by 0.2 grain.

So now it is check weights (Lyman's cheap set 65.5 grains max) and a digital for me. Get a version that uses AAA batteries.

Now that I have a scale that actually works, with check weights on the way, my plan is to get an RCBS pocket digital. This ought to keep me going forever unless I take things to an unanticipated level.
