Tell Me about CURRENT Production Remington 700s

just to add to my previous replies i was shooting off a bipod using federal 180 grain soft point ammo. the cheapest i could get for running in my barrel. the scope was only bore sighted and the scope is a meopta meopro 6-18x50

Seven Mdl. 700's one Mdl. 7 and one XR-100 rifle I would have to work at not getting any one of them to not shoot very well.Just know you will have to junk the stock on all but a few that have BC or HS Precision stocks. My current project rifle is a 700 SS sporter in 7mm-08 HS Precision /Timney.

Boom! There it is. If you go and look at the complaints, most of them are the lower end models listed above. I almost never see complaints from the nicer models. And then we could get into the discussion of how many of the complaints are legitimate, because I'm not always convinced they are. I'm sure may of them are, but some I do question.

Bottom line, if you want a Remington, go ahead and buy with confidence. Then report back to us! Haha

I bought a new CDL .243 that was a piece of junk!! I wouldn't doing anything right... Remington has replaced everything but the action and the stock to get it right... From numerous trips and back and forth to Remington and many conversations in print and over the phone it was fixed.. It only took a new trigger, a new barrel, and a new bolt... I paid for a quality rifle and I did not get it!! It took years of me going back and forth with them to fix the darn thing..
