Well, no. The analogy would be that your "replacement parents" would adopt you, and would continue giving birth to new offspring which would, for any practacle purposes would be your exact clone, even though you'd still be a product of the original parents.
I decided to pass on the rifle as I don't really have a use for that caliber around here for hunting and I don't see an Alaska moose/brown bear hunting trip in my future. Instead my friend/neighbor purchased it so he can reload and shoot it. He doesn't hunt but has all kind of calibers that he reloads and shoots.
