Taurus TCP with wings

I wonder how many ppl carry a spare speed strip just for the purpose of loading the tip up barrel of a SEMI AUTO MAGAZINE FED pistol. This is trying too hard to make your point.

As already mentioned its a bad idea for sd situations especially with rimless ammo.

Click ---> dud ---> flip tip up barrel ---> pry out rimless round ---> attempting to load loose round in barrel ---> realizing you don't have a loose round, all your rounds are in the inserted magazine ---> too weak to rack slide ---> game over

Probably none! But for people who do carry a tip up barrel I doubt they even carry a spare magazine, let alone an extra round to put in the chamber.
Just simple logic my friend, and only a suggestion of how spare ammo could be carried:D

he is an expert with every gun ever made and he owns them all.

Never said anything even close. Just voicing my opinions based on my experience.:)
People can agree, or disagree. Some do, some don't.

Now, would you care to actually answer the legitimate question?

But to address the concern I expressed earlier, can you tell by what you saw how unintended deployment of the wings is accomplished?
Is there some sort of latch, or release to hold them in place? Or are they held by spring tension only?

BTW, don't own them all, but trying diligently to acquire as many as I can, while I can!:D

I can find nothing else on the TCP with wings on google. In my 2015 Taurus product catalog. Pager 7
Model 738BWGS
Might find out a whole bunch more in a couple weeks. It could be they are somewhat keeping it under wraps for a SHOT Show rollout January 20-23.
