Taurus pt 940, quality or crap?

I don't think it's hatred for Taurus. It's the poor products. I sold them for 3 or 4 years, bought one before that. Mine didn't work too well, a large percentage of those we sold at the store came back on warranty. If you get a good one it's a good one but there is high possibility that you'll get a bad one. A Taurus wouldn't be my first choice just to save a few bucks.

I do not have a desire to bash any firearms manufacturer (Hi Point could be my exception) but my Taurus was not a keeper as it spent much of it's early life. Enroute to/ from or at a repair station. Some have better experience, I learned by mine and Taurus is not a consideration when pistol shopping.
