Taurus Model 444 UltraLite .44 Mag vs. S&W Model 329PD

I have a ruger redhawk 7 1/2" 44 mag and a Taurus 4" model 44 also in 44 mag. the ruger is a fine gun but I like the Taurus better.

reasons.
1. Taurus is easily as accurate as the ruger even with the shorter barrel.
2. Taurus is more comfortable to shoot because it is ported and has rubber grips.
3. because the Taurus is shorter it is easier to carry.

I love the ruger but the Taurus has become my camp and carry gun. I have never had a problem with the ruger but at the same time the Taurus has been perfect as well. so based on reliability, accuracy and shooting and carrying comfort the Taurus has become my go to 44 mag.

as a result I want to scope my redhawk for hunting and use the Taurus for everything else.
 
Taurus makes a "usable" firearm, but in no way have the ones I've owned (3) been close to equal with S&W, Ruger, or Colts.
 
I have had the greatest of luck with Taurus, Smith and Ruger, never a lemon. I would and will buy more of each with my money, not anyone else's.

Reading the same old crap here gets old. There are allot of happy Taurus owners out there who stay away from this forum for that very reason.
