Welcome, slab jockey to TFL. I've owned a 4" blued one and a 4" stainless one. I had zero troubles with both and thought they were good sound revolvers. I especially liked the grips. Didn't have to run out and get an aftermaket grip of some kind. I wore mine in the woods when hikin' around, fishin' or riding my ATV. I can see where it could be used as house gun or truck gun with urban type (human) ammo. They make some good self-defense ammo nowadays and it recoils alot less than the full power hunting loads. Best Regards, J. Parker
Hi, Slab. I can only comment on the six incher from Taurus. I got mine shortly after they came out in the early nineties. I have shot mine quite a bit and have had NO problems with it. A strange thing though. The cylinder does wobble a good bit, but the gun is very accurate. No matter what I use for ammo, factory or handloads, my groups are just as tight as they are with my S&W 29. No shaved lead or copper indicating timing problems either. Yours like that?
