Deadheat right now between handguns and shotguns.
Sure beats using the slipper... ;)

Double barrel shotgun.

Voted for a shotgun.

Beware the man with just one gun ... he probably knows how to use it!

Want? My first pic would not be a "weapon" exactly but rather a purpose built house along the lines of Col. Cooper's "Sconce".

After that a pair of trained Akitia's or Ridgebacks backed by some type of firearm that is reliable and easy to operate under stress.

Well, I selected Handgun, but only because my preferred choice wasn't available....

The only choices getting votes are handgun and shotgun. I wish they had a choice for a folding-stock H&K 93 with a 30-round clip. Or maybe one for a pack of trained Rottweilers?

1st choice: my Springfield 1911A1 spewing 230 gr. HydraShoks; followed by, in descending order:
- Model 66 w/ .357 Black Talons
- Model 12 w/ .38+P HydraShoks
- LS 642 w/ .38+P HydraShoks
- hairdryer & bucket of water
- slipper
- attack dachshunds

Got any more info on this? Sounds interesting.

First choice: My wifes cat = "BIG Louie" just.......after........him eating a 2 whole can of Friskeys "mixed grill"

That cat is one "rank dog" after stuffing its face with whatever they put in this cat food... :( the gas coming from this beast would repel the most determinded intruder.. barr none... :)

It's a small price to pay to keep the cat "loaded" but for my wifes saftey i feel it's my duty.... GOD BLESS AMERICA!

I saw an ad in the paper on my last trip to Colorado listing a dog that I felt would be a great answer to this question:

half German shepherd, half bull mastiff

I'm thinking that would be one loyal and rugged dog.

For the firearms, it's gotta be the shotgun with 00 buck. Preferrably a Remington 870. Speaking of that, has anyone else seen the reproductions of that fine model that Norinco has been manufacturing and importing? VERY nicely done. And inexpensive, too. (Around $200)

5.56 mm minigun if I'm in my bedroom. MP-5SD3 in .40 Liberty if I have to manuever. Phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range if the above doesn't work.
