SW 686, barrel overclocked...plastic parts?

Your right. I’m just frustrated. Get your hopes up about a dream gun and it’s awesome in every way but knuckle heads can’t let them out the door without issues. All the flak Colt gets is well deserved I can say that!
 
686 overclocked barrel not so bad

Took it out to the range today. Not bad. I put 5 in a 1" group at 30 feet, with 2 flyers. Basically hits where I point it. Didn't even have to adjust the site. I guess the slight overclock on the barrel isn't affecting accuracy. That's better than I do with my other guns. it's a keeper.

I fixed your post, but here's how to do it next time:

Put the cursor where you want the image to appear.

Click on the icon in the post editor menu that looks like this-->
insertimage.gif


Paste the address of the image into the address bar in the popup that comes up. Click OK.
 
How about this one: What if the overclocking was because S&W's assemblers are so *good* they did it on purpose to make up for a barrel that shot off point of aim? Eh? Bet you hadn't thought of that one. :D
