Super-fast approvals on pre-purchase background checks?

I used to get a pretty fast approval but then the time just got longer and longer and longer.

I don't wait for it anymore after waiting four hours for nothing.

I have a pretty unique name that is a fairly simply one and I use my social on the forms but hey,who knows with the government.

I've never been denied,just delayed.

And my ccw license came ahead of schedule so go figure.

Just part of the paper happiness,I guess.
 
With my GA carry permit I don't have to go through the background check as long as I buy in Georgia. They just record my permit # on the form. I live fairly close to the TN border and have bought a couple of guns from across the border and both times was approved before I could get the forms filled out.
 
When I Applied for my Texas Concealed Handgun License they told me it would take 60 to 90 days because of the amount of people applying for one... long story short im the only one in the US with my name and i have insurance licenses which means you cant be convicted of any felonies to sell insurance I got my license in 27 day
