Summertime Carry Options

I live in central Florida, where it is always summer and in summer it's basically Hell...and I carry an IWB full size 1911. It depends on what sort of clothes your job/lifestyle allow you to wear. I am usually dressed casually, which allows for an untucked polo shirt or an unbuttoned short sleeve button shirt or an athletic vest as a covering garment.
On those occasions when I am forced to dress up, I carry an airweight 38 in a pocket holster or a Kramer Confidant holster shirt. When I "dress down" like at the gym or the beach, my HK P7 goes into a fanny pack.

I was wondering when someone was going to say they carry a full size 1911. I don't know if its still in style, as I live near a college and ANYTHING seems to be in style. The T-shirt with a short sleeve button up shirt drapes well and looks OK up to middle age unless you're like me and need to loose at lease 30 pounds......I could carry about anything short of an uzi, I think, IF I could just make some more space under my WB.

RikWriter,

Is the Don Johnson look still in style down there? T-shirt and lightweight summer sport jacket? A shame that you can't just toss those things in the wash with the shirt.

Does anyone know if a full size 1911 hides and is very comfortable in a belly band?
