Wear Dockers or something similar and use a pocket holster.
A Taurus 85UL works fine, as does a .32ACP Beretta. A Kahr MK9 will too, but I reckon you'll need a belt (kind of heavy...tends to drag the trousers down. But a belt rectifies this situation).

Anthony,
I live just down the road in San Angelo, so I know what you mean. As much as I hate to say it, I've been thinking about getting a mouse-gun for the summer. I'm looking into a Beretta .380 or maybe a .32. My usual summer time dress consist of pleated golf shorts and a tucked in polo shirt so a pocket gun may be the ticket.

Ok, you big-bore-don't-carry-a-mouse-gun guys can let me have it now. I deserve it ;)

I carry either a Kel-Tel P-11 or a P-32. They are the best and smallest in their size, IMHO. The P-32 with the belt clip can't be beat. I am not comfortable with a gun in the pocket, with or without a sleave. I generally wear jeans and there just ain't room. I clip the P-32 behind the belt buckel and let the shirt drape a bit. I have a difficult time remembering to remove it before going into the office (can't carry there.)

Action Direct's belly band works fine for the P-11. I can adjust it for right or left carry and doesn't print.

Ditto on NEVER using ANY kind of off person carry. You WILL forget! No, I didn't forget as I learned from others. Like another post, I have forgot my hat, etc. and don't want to forget my piece. I have a real phobia about that, which is good.

Ankle carry with a small gun in another. I have used it and it works fine, but the P-32 with the belt cilp is better - and faster!

Hi Anthony,
I live in Arizona, and I am just starting to change over to summer time cary mode. In times past, I carried either a Taurus M605 .357 mag, or a .380 Makarov. Both in a pocket holster. This summer, I will be carrying a Glock 26. Also in a pocket holster. The pocket holster option is the only one that truly works in the south western summer heat. All you need to do is choose a small gun from the many that are out there. You no longer have to depend on mouse gun calibers either. 9MM's,40SW, and even the venerable .45ACP can be had in packages that fit right in your pocket.

Appendix carry. Belt clip or IWB with either a vertical pitch(no cant) or slight muzzle forward cant.

I'm scrawney and I feel any traditional IWB (at, or behind, the hipbone)prints too easily with light clothing. Especially when sweating.

Plus, when I'm reaching up for something, say off a high store shelf, folks are almost always behind me - and with the appendix carry I don't worry so much about "flashing" the exposed parts of the holster/grip.

This topic was covered in previous trend with a lot of good suggested posted there, but to quickly recap what I said, living in the hot & humid Florida swamps where it doesn't even make it out of the 80's in the cold of winter, I have quickly learned a lot about deep concealment and I use an ActionDirect Defender Belly Band with a Kahr MK9 (I originally started carrying the MK40 but with serious defensive rounds, I find it hard to shot that little thing accurately -- I guess it requires more practice than I have the time to put in).

The only good method for warm weather carry with business dress (that I have found) is a J frame 38 stubbie used with a pocket holster. If you can dress with your shirt untucked, IWB opens up all types of possibilities.

Down here in Florida, I find myself with a 32 pocket gun more and more...

IWB if your dress allows it.

A pocket gun/holster with khakis if not.

If deep concealment is acceptable with you, Thunderwear.

Good luck!

I must admit, the fanny pack works *really* well. And it can carry other stuff too...

I also got an IWB holster from milt sparks, and that is sweet as well, but the fanny pack is "easier" and more comfortable

IMHO - the ultimate. . . .

S&W J-frame EQUIVALENT snubby.

Barami hip-grip grips - has a big slot that lets it clip over your pants, and I find it also helps me hold the little frame (supports base of index finger when firing).

The cylinder is down where it's comfortable, and the handle is negligible (unlike a semi).

It's more comfortable than carrying a wallet.

.357 mag (after 5 shots you are in pain) - in 2 inch barrel I've heard ~1200fps is attainable - it will hit harder than a jammomatic mouse of any description.

The fanny pack does work. However, being a 26 year old male, I REFUSE to carry one around (it looks stupid). Mitch Rosen ARG or Pager Pal. Carrying is for one purpose and one purpose only. Little pee shooter won't cut it.

You forgot the NAA mini-revolver on a belt buckle. :)

People will think you're glad to see them with that Glock in your pocket! :) I also have a Glock 26, but I've never considered it a pocket gun. How big are your pockets???

I think this is largely urban myth, fear, or the weenie-factor, providing that one selects the right load. I just put 50 rounds of 110 gr. JHP .357 downrange with my Model 60 and I wasn't in pain then or the next day.
