Summer conceal carry gun options?

I once wore a Glock 17 while swimming in a buddy's pool. It was in an Uncle Mikes fabric IWB rig with a plastic clip. Believe it or not, the gun never rusted and the rounds worked just fine a week later when I plinked em out.
I $#!* thee not, friends.
Im not a 9 fan or a Glock fan in particular, but the Glock is lightweight and it is VERY rust resistant.

why would carry in a swimming pool???

if I had just shorts on. I would get a 22mag deringer and stick in a pocket.

just be careul that none thinks that you have two... well um pistols...

Ok I'll bite

I know I'm going to regret this, but...Jack M, why were you packing a Glock while submerged in a friend's swimming pool? I just can't stop myself.

My old Keltec P-32 in a ziplock sandwitch bag. squeeze the air out before you seal the bag, put it in your pocket, don't lose it.
OR: Keltec on a lanyard around the neck under a large tee shirt.

Mark

PS Even have a ziplock from last Halloween that glows in the dark.

Some of you guys need new friends

if you can't go swimming at a buddy's pool without packing in the water, i think you should re-think things.

I agree with SCCop. Besides I don't want anyone carrying a Glock, and swimming in my pool. If the damn thing goes off, and you catch one in the crotch, that's your problem. But, if it goes off, and puts a hole in my pools liner, you ain't getting invited back!!! Never!!! Go to the pool at the Y!!! :D :D

When I go swimming in the river, my piece is in my backpack.. in sight of course, and theres always someone on the shore to so.

I do anything thats outdoors and not in a city, its in my backpack(usually empty chamber, loaded mag)

I wouldn't do this but............

I have a friend who puts his KelTec P-32 in a zip lock baggie and then stuffs it into his jock strap. Gives him the apparance of a great "package" and allows him to be literally "strapped" at the swimming pool. Remember, YOU asked this question.

Basically, I was out running around one day and ran into a buddy of mine who asked me to go running around with him. So , I got out of the car and rode with him to another freinds house who was having a pool party.
Instead of taking out my peice and startling any non gun persons, I just jumped in the pool....Simple as that.
And yeah , for all the factors I don't like about them, Glocks really are pretty much rust proof. I cant say the same thing for my old stainless model 1911 from Colt, LOL..It has rust stains all over the slide from when I packed it daily in the summer heat.
