Suggestions on a compact .45

If it'll make you feel any better, I don't believe in the history of the world there was ever a real new Browning Hi Power .40 for $279. Something funny about that story. Not your story, the dealer's. They would have been unbelievably cheap at $379. Glad you ended up with something you liked.

Thanks - I honestly have to say I didn't see one, but the explanation was they went fast & I can believe it. It was a huge, reputable dealer too, but who knows. I do like that PT940 though, & am glad I bought it.

*sigh*

Well, I still don't own a 9MM - never had a big desire for one, but I pretty much have everything around it. I've been keeping my eye open for that killer Hi Power deal in a used gun, maybe someday I'll stumble onto it & add another caliber to stck ammo for!
