Hello,

First time poster here. I actually found this forum searching this question in google, but the threads were pretty dated, so I hope its OK that I'm reviving this question.

I'm a big fan of slender pistols with metal frames. I currently own a zastava M88a, M70a and 1911's in 45acp and 22lr.

I'm searching for single stack (or thin framed) 9mm's with metal frames. I prefer steel frames over other metals, but im open to all suggestions. Are there any other 9mm's based on the tokarev or john browning designs? Are there any that aren't based on those designs but slim and single stacked? Thank you in advance.

I owned a Sig P6 a while back. I believe they are single stack. It would have made a good carry gun. I went with a polymer carry eventually but I regret selling that pistol it was a good one.

Sig P210.

Some of the S&W 9mm autos were single stack.

For that matter, there are some companies, including Rock Island, that make 1911s in 9 mm, if that floats your boat.

Imagine a metal framed hammer fired Sheild....now that would be perfect.

Or better yet a single stack CZ RAMI or PCR.

1911 in 9mm ....

+1 to the Stars. Lots of places selling the Star Model Super B right now for about $250. I believe Aim Surplus and J&G has them.

Another vote for the Sig P239. I don't have big hands, but my fingers are kinda on the long side- so Hogue grips made my 239 a fantastic fit and pure joy to shoot.
