Stuff "I" heard at Wal-Mart last night

Was at a Walmart up in NH a few years back, a woman points to a Mossberg 500 and says to her husband or boyfriend that she wants that double barrel shotgun, I pointed out to her that it wasn't actually a double barrel shogun, and that the tube on the bottom was the magazine tube that held the shells. She gave me the dirtiest look you could imagine, and told me that she knows what shes talking about, and that it was a double barrel shotgun. I just gave her a big smirk and went back to what I was doing.

I have loved Wally World since the first one I went into about 1970 (IIRC). When one opens up in a small town prices drop about 10% I am told and that's good for the local economy. One thing they do that sometimes irritares me is just drop a product that I have grown fond of. Some stuff they have treated the same way they are treating AR's are:
1. Jim Dandy Grits in the 5 lb sack.
2. Ritter Sport chocolate products.
3. Baci chocolate products.
4. The butter blend I used to buy.

I don't think these were politically motivated.

BTW they really don't care what you think. They know all us rednecks are gonna come buy crackers and Vieanna sausages. One special service Walmart offers is you can go to their store and walk around till your wife looks skinny.

Windham AR for $375 OTD

dude, that is a freaking deal of a lifetime. mine has never actually sold AR's since I hve been going, I absolutely would have jumped on that, like I really need another AR. I a still smiling about getting a 119$ butt-stock for 40$ and the 60$ little rail mount flashlight for really cheap, 25$ IIRC. it's a neat little light and really fits the flow of a tiny AR pistol, the light is not bright enough for distance, but great for the house. I recommend checking it out if you need a weapon light. Another Mission First Tactical product, I have never heard of them until I bought tha butt-stock, now have bought several accessories by MFT and am really pleased with the quality. I bought the butt-stock which is top notch, then the adjustable cheek riser(very solid with nice tight hex(quality), the torch rail light and two pistol grips. I am really a fan of the company, I need to start scouring other Walmarts to see if they have anything left. like the deal you got on that Wyndam, Congratulations for real, that's awesome. everything I bought has been about 60% or more off regular. would love to score a nice AR one piece mount for cheap, but not sure if those would be so reduced since they aren't technically AR specific. everyone keep updating the deals they find on AR stuff in your area BTW.

really lke the low profile mounting screw, just a nice piece really. I am keeping an eye on MFT, I like their minimalist stocks as well.

They have been under a lot more pressure previously when sales were high and not budged. Why would they cave now?
Sales of ARs are plummeting everywhere nationwide. Gun shops are full of them. Armslist has pages and pages. Manufacturers cut production months ago. I would be very surprised if there are ANY walmart stores with strong sales.
Yes, Walmart stocks different things in different stores, but their warehouses need to carry all the things for all the stores in a region. If only 1% of stores are selling ARs they aren't going to keep them in warehouses.
