State Legislator Fires First Shot of the Session

Maybe I'm too paranoid about the issue, but I fear that if firearm owners as a group don't start handling firearms more safely, gun control advocates will have the "public safety" issue they need to justify more control. Way too many of these incidents for my taste.

That is classic! Sounds like the guy who hung a semi on the coat hook of the restroom stall in the police station. The trigger was depressed and supposedly it spun like a rapidly firing pinwheel.

Yes, but I doubt any of the people you mentioned shrugged it off and said, "well, that just happens."
