State Farm discriminates against gun owners!

I have State Farm insurance, I will now cancel my insurance with them and they will know why. I am sick of this S^&t. To bad I am not a billionaire that can give out 60,000 bucks to every socialist that wants to take away my God given Right, and a damn fine hobby. S&^t I am pi$$ed. AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!

I'll have to find out about this. Been a State Farm customer myself since I was 16. That's over 34 years. I will call my agent today and find out. Bet I'll find out that it is the agent and not the Company. If it is the Company.... well I just change insurance companies.

I called the State Farm Regional office that was in the article:
Mr. Edward Rust President State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co.
One State Farm Plaza
Bloomington IL 61710-0001 309-766-7554

I spoke to a very nice lady (Anna). She indicated that this was the first time she had heard of this! After explaining the story, she indicated that State Farm surely didn't need this kind of press and I expressed to her that she definately did not! I expressed to her that I have been a State Farm customer for the past 25 years and explained that my three homes, two businesses and four auto's all might be looking for a new insurance carrier if this is true.

I got her e-mail address and sent her the link to the story:
http://www.scfirearms.org/garya.htm

She indicated to me that she will be checking into this right away and will e-mail me back a response....I will post it when I receive it.

To own firearms is to affirm that freedom and liberty are not gifts from the state.

I have State Farm auto insurance. I wonder what they would think if they knew I carry a gun in the car from time to time? We can all thank greed for this kind of attitude about guns. Our society is becoming more anti-gun and the lawyers can make a killing when there is a gun mishap.
I wonder is State Farm is concerned about us having gasoline in our garages, or mowing our lawns with lawnmowers??? There is potential for catastrophy with gas and a spinning mower blade. Surely, as much danger as shooting. If we keep this up, soon we will have to go to Philistia to have our plow shears sharpened.

Sounds like the last time I talked to a CSV from AT&T.
The lady didnt have a clue that they had give millions to very socialist democrats.
But they dont have AS much of my money to do so with ,I still need to change my credit card over to SAF from them.

I have had good luck with my state farm agent here in tulsa. When I got my ccw I called and asked about auto coverage on my carry gun. He was very helpful and replied that he carried a glock.

Everybody sing along if you think you know the words…

As the music swells...

...like a good Nazi…Hate Farm is there….!

And a special thanks to all you lawyers out there busy making the world a much better place for all of us!?!

If anyone gets the definitive word about State Farm policy (pun? moi?) please post here. I'd hate to drop them, but drop them I will, if this be true as described.

I will also drop them "faster than a speeding bullet"! I'll encourage others to do so as well. Will wait for the form letter e-mail. Dear concerned insured (code for schmuck) SF has always been concerned with your safety. Since we're afraid of the big mean anti-gun lawyers we have decided it would be best to discriminate against you to protect our Ashes. We feel that since the average civil suit will result in a million dollar settlement we have re-rated your policy. Please submit a certified check for 2 million within 10 days or your policy will be cancelled. Like a good ......... fill in the blank! If it goes like that we need some research on "gun friendly" insurance company.

When I recently tried to get an umbrella policy from State Farm, the agent asked outright if i owned any firearms. When I said yes, end of coversation, and no umbrella policy could be considered. Period! Nothing more to be said.

Just received this e-mail from the lady I spoke to on Monday after I called her on Tuesday (I left a message on her recorder) to remind her she owed me an answer. I'll post a follow-up when I get a definative answer.

Dear Sir,
I received your voice mail message late yesterday afternoon just as I was about to pick up my daughter for an appointment, so I apologize for not answering.  I do however want to let you know that Kip Diggs, another media spokesperson here, is handling this matter and my understanding is that he will be contacting you today.  I do appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

State Farm and Allstate are the WORST insurance companies you can ever hope to deal with.

My family dropped both over the years for absolutely ROTTEN performance on their part.

A good friend HAD State Farm here in the No. Va. area. After severe hail damage to his roof, it took nearly 9 MONTHS for State Farm to finally process his claim.

It eventually cost State Farm a LOT more money, because they kept screwing around, and every time it rained the damage to the house got worse.

I insure with Erie Insurance. Great rates, great service, and none of this political BS.

Get Erie Insurance.

Beware the man with the S&W .357 Mag.
Chances are he knows how to use it.

When the tornado went thru Oklahoma City in May of 99, I understand that State Farm dragged their heels on paying claims. My insurance is with Farmers, an agent drove up to my house three days after the storm and handed me a check for $3000.00 (for living expenses) I asked if he had anything to sign for the check and he replied "No this is to hold you over for a few days, we will worry about the paperwork later." I WILL be a long time custome of Farmers Insurance company. The agent assigned to my case (they were brought in from all over the country) even brought over KFC and sat down and helped me fill out all of the claim forms needed to submit a claim. A super company to deal with.

Dont go for Geico either.
Theyve made repeated contributions to
facist groups like HCI and what have you.
ON the NRA's list as anti- companies.

I think this link is a hoax. The person with this URL has taken it down. He probably got himself in a hell of a law suit.

TWICE I asked State Farm to drop (from the policy) a car we no longer had, and TWICE they dropped the WRONG CAR!!!

Dropped 'em last eyar, for good.
