Starting a collection of Cold War pistols.

Don't underestimate the CZ-52. A little cleaning of the lockwork's mating surfaces and a set of Hogues makes for a reliable and stout pistol. Now that Winchester offers useful ammo for the 7.62x25, there's no reason at all it wouldn't make a decent carry gun for the budget minded. I've been handloading the Hornady XTP's in Starline brass near 1600fps through my chronograph, and I sure as hell wouldn't want to catch one of those bullets in any part of my person. And yes, night-time shooting gives new meaning to the term muzzle flash. THe good news is SOG and Century have another batch of them in stock, for dirt cheap. Truly a win-win situation!
