Stand and be COUNTED

For the first time, in my posts I shall try to be as brief as I possibly can.

How may have worn the uniform of this Great Country we call America?

How many will stand by her and give her their all, to insure that liberty and freedom will not go quietly into the pages of history?

How many still get a lump in their throats when you see our Country's colors fly?

Is death so scary, that you are willing to live in slavery? Is death so feared that you will live in fear?

How many will stand with me, and be counted for the cause of freedom? I will gladly defend my homeland from all enemies, whether foreign or domestic. How many are willing to die, so that future geneations can live in freedom?

God bless you all

Judge Blackhawk

"As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression.
In both instances there is a twilight when everything remains
seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all
must be most aware of change in the air - however slight -
lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness."

Been there, done that, still do. Even been declared dead. Nothing to lose except freedom for my children and their children.

I'm in.

Nikita Khrushchev predicted confidently in a speech in Bucharest, Rumania on June 19, 1962 that: " The United States will eventually fly the Communist Red Flag...the American people will hoist it themselves."

I'm still bound by the oath I took 26 years ago to defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

I'm proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with the rest of you.

Judge, I will be honored to stand with such a man as yourself.

Yes, I still get a lump in my throat when the flag passes by or I see it waving against the backdrop of a beautiful sunrise or sunset. And I still am overcome with the same sense of awe I experienced when I walked up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial 45 years ago as a 10 year old boy when I see a picture of that magnificent structure enclosing that huge (to a 10 year old) statue of a man I had been taught to revere.

Yes, Judge, I will stand with you. Death no longer holds me hostage. I have come too close to him twice and walked away with a better sense of myself and life in general.

Judge, I already gave that pledge 26 years ago... Forever in the Militia since.

Best Regards,
Don

The most foolish mistake we could make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms; history shows that all conquerers who have allowed their subjected people to carry arms have prepared their own fall.

Life as state property has nothing of value to offer, so dying to stay free is no sacrifice.

That's something totalitarianism can't understand.

I’m in.

I am very concerned about the “domestic” enemies right now.

Have been for the past seven years.

Truthfully much respect and adoration go out to all who have worn the uniform with honor. I am currently still wearing mine as a Hospital Corpsman in Jacksonville, FL.

Over thirty years ago, when I was commissioned in the Navy, I swore to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That pledge is the cornerstone of my life, and I remain bound by it as a retired officer.

What today is particularly alarming, however, is the real possibility that the primary adversaries to our way of life are Constitutionally empowered and domestic. The phrase "these are the times that try men's souls" is more than rhetorical.

I've always been _in_.

However, I choose to allow the "other side" ample opportunity to die for their cause.

Count me in. I may have been discharged, but I shall not discharge my duty to my country or my responsibility to my progeny.

Didn’t Patton say something to the effect of “The object of going to war is not to die for your country, but to make sure that the other poor (enemy) bastard does”?

Never wore the uniform but affirmative to all the other questions.

Ready.

NRA? Good. Now joing the GOA!

Have not worn the uniform yet (planning to join the VA National Guard).

Strategize and fight "for" guns every day from 8 to 6.

Things that give me a lump in my throat:

- The thought of God
- Walking the Yorktown battlefield
- The knowledge that so many value freedom more than life itself
- WW2 Movies (especially those starring the Duke)
- A good wood-oven-baked pizza ;)

Private gun ownership is the capital sin in the left's godless religion. Crime is merely a venial mistake.
