Seems like the word from several gun smith/dealers is that Springfield Armory handguns might not make the gun test here in Kalifornia...if it's true, that means buy your SA now 'cause they might not be around for sale here. ;
I love my SA1911-A1 "loaded". I got the parkerized version New In the Box with a spare clip, lock, and all the paperwork for $585 in Evansville, Indiana.
Well Guys I did the dirty deed. I was out to the gun shop yesterday and rechecked the Springfield. It's the V12 not the V16 as I thought. After examination and more fondling I put money on it and told him to hold it in the back. Made my day now all I have to do is pay it off and pick it up. With some of the prices quoted here I felt this was a fair price so what the heck your only passing through once. Now I can go one with my Doc and his matching Gold Cups
