I find the CCI caps, which are now watered down after the lawsuit, do not reliably fire my Richmond Carbine that has a right-angle fire channel from the cone to the barrel.

They seem to work OK on my Enfields, which have a direct drilled hole from cone to barrel.

The German RWS Dynamite Nobel caps work for me without fail, and they are all I use in competition.

I waste the CCI caps to clear the cone prior to shooting. "snap caps".

However, in this day and age, you take what you can find.

But last time I called they were out.

I happened to find 10 tins of them at my local gun store a few months ago and bought all of them.
