Spouses and guns in the house and Guns in general

The Mrs is fine with it. She grew up with a father who hunted. She has her own handgun but still doesn't understand why I need more than one handgun, rifle, and shotgun. She doesn't bitch about it but will never understand anymore than I will understand why she needs to collect Lenox china that I can't use to eat off of.

The one time I found a girl I thought was worth marrying , she informed me that after we got married , and had kids , the guns and motorcycles would have to go.

Truth be told my girlfriend just wants to make sure the bills are paid before I play. Even so far as the Desert Eagle SHE says would be fun to have as a member of our family. No problems here!

When me and my wife first got together I had a rifle and she did not seem to have a problem with that. When I decided to get my first handgun a mentioned I would like to get a gun and she was like ok .When I mentioned I wanted a revolver she was like ok ( have not got yet) . She has told me she is ok with me having guns but she does not want to touch them.

That's the key Terry...best friends. My best friend of 46 years also cleans her own guns, loves to go shopping at Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops, and can talk guns with the best of them. Also makes the best fried chicken and apple pie....
