Spare Mag Carry

In a kramer horsehide leather mag pouch...either a single or a double...( 1911, 10 rd, 9mm ETM mag, Wilson )....on the weak side...usually I carry the single.
This.

Two is one and one is none, as the saying goes. A "New York Reload" is faster than any mag change as well.

Left rear pocket. Simple and free. Wallet stays in same pocket and the mag rides next to it. Wallet is full of enough junk to equal the thickness of the mag, hence I don't notice it when I sit.

I used to have a kydex holster for my first G42, and it had a mag holder in front of the pistol. Since I don't have that anymore, I carry my G43's and G42's extra magazine in my left pocket. I will eventually get another similar kydex holster or two with the integral mag holder, but for now, in the pocket they go.

When I carried full size or compact pistols, I'd always have a single magazine holder on my belt.

I tend to carry in my cargo pockets. When I don't have a New York reload, spare mags ride up the opposite pocket.

Not fast, but neither is the draw from the cargo pocket. But I have a gun.

i had the same issue and i started carrying a cheap pocket holster....a small multitool or flashlight and an extra mag fits perfect in it and just carry it in my weakside pocket

I'm with 5whiskey on this one. Left back pocket for me. I made my own mag pouch out of some Cordura fabric and a Kydex sheet. This is for my Glock 43 mags so they are pretty thin. The mag pouch leaves about .5" of the mag exposed for easy access and it keeps them oriented the right way. The Kydex sheet makes it look flatter than it is so it looks just like a wallet. I'll take some pics and post it when I get a chance.

Uncle Mike 's Undercover mag pouch ,single stack 45acp clip on . The holster is also a paddle Galco Speed holster. Even though I have it with me most of the time I still like easy on easy off . 98 % of us will never have to use it. But if your the 2%er its there. Be Safe out there.

My usual carry is a KAHR CW45 - the 7 round mag fits perfectly in a Leatherman sheath - perfectly incognito- no one gives them a second look -

The "leather" with brass snap Leatherman case also works.

I had a cheap dual mag carrier which was OWB and I got tired of it and just started carrying it in my back pocket on my weak side.

I carry my G23 in a custom IWB leather holster. I carry 2 spare magazines in a double OWB carrier made by the same maker. As was said above if your IWB handgun is hidden, so is the OWB Magazine Carrier.
I carry the magazines weak side behind my cel phone carrier.

I also have an extra Glock magazine with 6 rounds in it in each lower front vest pocket of my Duluth Trading Working Man's Vest. I like to weight the vest pocket so it sweeps better, and no better weight than an extra 12 rounds of ammo on tap. NOTE: Full Magazines weigh more than I want them to for the purpose described.

When I carry appendix, which is 90% of the time, I carry the spare mag at 11 o'clock as well as one in my right front pocket. There are two more in my EDC bag as well which is usually with me all the time, but not on me all the time. Also in that bag is extra medical.

Single stack 9mm mags are small. If I wear jeans it's the left rear pocket. If i wear shorts it's the left front pocket. Nothing to exciting but It works for me.
