I think FF's point was that if only a small percentage of the huge number of gun owners in this country voted only for candidates who would not sell their gun rights down the river, there'd be no way on Earth the Democrats could take over Congress.

I wholeheartedly agree.

I think he meant that it wouldn't matter much if the Dems took over, with even a fraction of our numbers we could do battle over any silly control laws they tried to pass. I don't agree because once they take over - WE can't do anything til the next election.
