Single shot probably, assuming it is still headspaced on the rim. The magazine mostly won't work with a cartridge of different length.

Toggle lock was used in 1860 Henry. Sideway application is novel as is the spring located in the toggle. I wish there were more drawings. Is it striker fired like the P-08? It would make sense.

Yeah, the most interesting gun I've seen in quite a while here. Makes me wish for a "Forgotten weapons" type forum.
