Someone slap me

Ok, I have the budget to get one more gun this year and I can't decide what to do. My options are to buy a couple stripped AR lowers (why get just 1) and build a cool AR, buy a 1903 Springfield, or build a 1911. Someone talk some sense into me.

I would personally go with the 1903 but that's just me.

1. do you already own an AR, 1903 or 1911? if so, why not spice things up with something you don't have yet?

one project I've been wanting to do is a ruger SR1911 but with hogue wrap around grips and cerakote all moving parts to give it a unique look.

get them all!!!

The 1911 would be my last choice.
I would consider an 03 due to their limited availability.
I would also go ahead and get a stripped lower.

I would go with the 1903 first. 1911's and AR's are plentiful and still being made, but 1903's are starting to have limited availability.

Actually picked up a Mosin tonight but that doesn't count does it, that was saved up ammo money from the shortage.

Buy the AR Lower and build one

I'm 64 years old and built one last year at my son's encouragement. Sure is better than reloading 5 shot clips in my bolt .223/556's. Of course I could have bought one of the new Marlin bolts that takes AR mags. but tha AR platform is inheritantly accurate and will shoot alongside .223 bolt guns. Sure is a ground squirrel, prarie dog rifle.
