Good question!
Well, I now have at least one gun for every purpose now and several for some purposes so I am now looking at the "always wanted one of those" pistols. I suppose I would like to get my hands on a Coonan Model B to go next to my Coonan Cadet. Always loved a .357 magnum 1911 styled pistol and these were great guns.
After that, I would love to get my hands on a Colt 1911 reproduction and send it to JO-JOs for some retro custom work, i.e. French cut the slide, dovtail in a front sight, flatten and serrate the slide top, checkering on the front strap, serrating the back of the slide, underside of the trigger guard, install S&W K frame revolver sights, beavertail, trigger job, bobed hammer, polish the slide and frame flats and give it a high-end blued finish. Nitride the pins and finish it off with a set of high-end Double Diamond checkered grips, probably in Cocobolo or maybe smooth ivory. Now that would be nice.
In the meanwhile, I have a suppressed Ruger MkIII on layaway and I'm still hankering for a CZ-527 reworked to be an ultralight hunter in 6.5mm Grendel.
Another 10/22 would also be fun!
