So, What's Your Favorite 9mm Tactical Pistol

Any wiggle room for multiple choice here?

Duty pistol is very early model 3rd gen 6906 ... literally thousands and thousands of rounds (standard, +p & some +P+) downrange. Boringly reliable, accurate enough to hit the clothespins holding the targets to the cardboard at 7-10 yards, and hit pepper poppers anywhere out to 100 yards if I pay attention and do my part. Maybe I'll invest in something other than the stock pre-Novak sights someday ...

3913 for off duty option to the 6906. Slightly slimmer grip just feels better. Don't feel underarmed with only 9 rounds. Installed some PT Bar-Dot night sights to compare them with the Novak lo-mount Ghost Rings, and liked them enough to leave them on ... Really want to upgrade to the 3913 TSW version sometime ... I have a couple of other calibers in TSW versions, and they are slick ...

SW99 in 9mm. During T&E took an over oiled (factory shipping) new pistol out of box and started shooting it. A little over 1200 rounds later we started to feel guilty about not cleaning it, so ran a patch down the barrel and kept shooting ... Made us feel better, though it didn't seem to bother the pistol one way or the other ... Even average shooters seem to do remarkably well with one. The optional light for the frame rails seems okay for "tactical" application, if you're so inclined ... Like being able to switch grip inserts for different sized hands (or, gloved-cold weather versus barehanded-warmer weather, bike gloves, or whatever other reason you might care to think of ... or not ). Like being able to switch front sight posts to accomodate varying point-of-impact with different weight loads.

Just 9mm, right?

Gungeek,
I carry my P99 ina Predator Kydex IWB. You might have a hard time finding one outside of Arizona. He is a local holster maker. :D

Favorite (and one only for now)

Finally got my first semiauto- Beretta 92FS so I have to say it's my favorite for now. Shot one at a training class 4 months ago and really liked it- been saving ever since. Thanks Ray & Renee ! :D :D
