So, What's Your Favorite 9mm Tactical Pistol

By tactical, I mean something big enough to be really accurate, and small enough to be carried. For example, some police agencies carry the longslide Glock 35, and other groups use the longslide Glocks for special tactical situations. Some folks really like tactical pistols for sports shooting.

I'll start and say that my current favorite is the CZ 75 BD. This pistol is built rock solid, is very well debugged, is very accurate, has an excellent trigger, and the price/performance is unmatched. And, you can still easily get high caps at a reasonable price.

Your turn ;)

My tactical pistol is also my carry pistol:

H&K P7PSP.

My only comment is get several of them so you can become very used to the squeeze cocker design. Once you shoot them enough it is truly instictive and very accurate.

This thing is way "tactical".

I carry a PC 6906 with Night sights. Holds 13 rounds of COR-BON 115s and 2 spare mags with 12 rounds each.

Whichever one I happen to be carrying is MY favorite.

Being serious, my favorite would be the HK USP Tactical. Hey, the name says it all.

Browning Hi-Power - I don't care = 9mm, 40, or 357 Sig "upgrade" .... no matter.

What could be more simple, effective & elegant?

Draw, wipe safety/aim, shoot.

Complete & flawless.

What's to ask? & what's to "improve" upon?

(as an aside & to raise the ire of the 1911 fans, why the **** do you still have that damnable "extra" grip safety? You do have that "extra" one (safety) between yer ears, no?) ... I could never get into that damnable grip "safety" 1911 BS ....

YesSir! Just give me a nice BHP platform (I care less what caliber - there is enough offered) so I can choose when & how I shoot it .... I'll do the rest.

BHP's nice 'n flat, conceals very well, has multi-capability, comes in decent-enough calibers ... what more could you ask?

(oh! that's right ... it's not "plastic" )

... but, I'm a dinosaur. :p

Why re-invent the wheel?

Everybody's certainly entitled, but, ... really ....
