There are only a few firearms that I still want to add to my collection. In no particular order they are: .357 GP 100, 12ga coach gun, M1A Rifle and (a second) stainless steel .357 New Vaquero. I will buy two of them this year if possible. My main focus will be actually shooting tlmy current guns more frequently this year.

Short List 2012
Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt/45ACP
Ruger GP 100 4" for wife. Go figure, she likes good sized revolvers..and likes my S&W 28 entirely too much
Plus that 28 isn't made anymore. Like to rest her a bit. We shoot a TON of 38-357

This year I'm most likely going to end up with a Colt Combat Elite. However, I do have a short list, but it's not going to be accomplished all in one year:
-Springfield Loaded M1A
-Colt Mustang
-Colt 6945 upper for my 6940
-Rem. 870 18"
-Police Trade-In S&W 5906 (Their so cheap I can hardly resist)
-Colt or S&W medium frame .38

The handgun short list is indeed short:

If Ruger or S&W made a 9mm snubby, I might go with either of those.

Well, I guess it was a Ruger LC9 as I went to the store to buy one a couple weeks ago and they had just sold out.
Then I found my LCP that had been missing for a month in a seldom worn jacket so the need isn't as great. I have more guns than I need (since when did that ever stop me), but maybe another 9mm. Looked at both the Ruger SR9c and the Beretta PX4c. Both are nice in there own right and I could see either one as my next purchase. My problem is that I seldom trade guns and never sell any some my collection keeps growing as my time for shooting gets less and less. I feel like a hoarder.
BTW I still want, but don't need, a Draco AK pistol.
